This box comes with not one but TWO sponges which is a great deal! These can be used more then once. I can go a whole month (if kept taken care of properly) with just one. 

They are hard like a rock at first and once the sponge is submerged into water, it will absorb the water, puff up and become soft and spongy. You can use a tiny bit of cleanser, or just use it plain.

I have used other types of these sponges that were infused in clays and this is a all natural one. 

The fibers are a bit rougher, but that is good because you want it to actually exfoliate as its to be used for. 

Once you rinse your sponge, do NOT squeeze it hard. Just press the extra water out, and hang it on the suction cup hook that comes with the sponge. It will harden up again for the next use!
