Once you apply this "mud" mask to your face, its cold at first. The texture is extremely smooth and creamy . I think due to the shea butter that is in the mask. The coldness may be the Aloe in it.
In fact to me, it feel as if you are applying aloe vera to your face :) which is think feels great!
Once it was applied evenly over my face, i could tell the mud was starting to absorb the oils in my face. As the mask hardened, in my case about 15 minutes to fully harden, I felt as though my face turned to stone, haha.
I rinsed my face with warm water to remove the mask. You could even see the dead skin cells that were on my face. Its almost like all the toxins in my skin, dead skin, and whatever funky dirt was on my face got erased write before my eyes. I could see 3 tiny black heads on the side of my cheek that seemed to have come to light BUT how great is that?? Its working!! Getting rid of the dirt and clearing my face just as its suppose to.
My face feels so smooth, and as if it can "breathe" again. Rejuvenated feeling. I really like this mask. I think its great. I definitely would recommend this to anyone with combination skin or oily skin and if you have dry skin, I would really use this not as much due to not having as much oils on your skin.
I did not use this as a full body mask but It is said to relieve sore muscles & soothe aches and pains.
I would recommend that the company include a stick or mini scoop with this because I think it would help with application.
